We are delighted to offer a fabulous new Homeshare opportunity for someone to live comfortably and affordably in north west London in return for providing around 10 hours a week of practical support, and an overnight reassuring presence to an older couple.

Homeshare Location:
This Homeshare is situated in a beautiful home in a gorgeous part of North London, close to Hampstead Heath and to bus and train links direct into central London (Zone 3).
Accommodation on Offer:
Sole use of a newly converted bright and airy garage with a double bed and en-suite shower room, basin, and toilet. There is a sofa, microwave and fridge and good Wi-fi. A wardrobe, chest of drawers and or desk/chair can be provided. Access to the house, main kitchen and washing machine/dryer.
What the Opportunity Involves:
In return for the low-cost accommodation (£199 per month), we are looking to match an older couple with a bright and friendly Sharer who is happy to provide some help at suppertime, and a little companionship, but most importantly, a reassuring presence at night. No personal care is permitted.
Our homeowners are an engaging and happy couple in their late 80’s. They enjoy reading, listening to classical music, going to the cinema and theatre, and playing bridge. They both use walking aids around the home for their safety. They have a large close family, and a housekeeper comes daily to help with laundry and housework.
They also have a delightful and friendly little terrier dog.
The ideal Sharer for this opportunity will be working or studying, probably mostly out of the home midweek, but around some evenings and weekends to help them at suppertime with food prep, some cooking and tidying up. The preference is for someone aged 24 + who is bright and cheery and has their own independent life and perhaps shares their interests in theatre and film.
A driver would be well suited to help with occasional drop-offs or shopping, and there is an automatic car available, but it is not essential.
The preference is for someone who is willing to stay for at least 12 months.

Cost: £199 per month
This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do NOT pay any rent to the Homeowner but may be asked to pay a modest monthly contribution towards bills.
