What the Opportunity entails:

We have a fabulous new homeshare opportunity for a female sharer looking for low-cost accommodation and a safe place to live, in return for providing some companionship and practical support.

The property is in a great location in the heart of Hampstead with easy access in to Central London. A big Waitrose and The O2 centre are less than 10 minutes’ walk away.

Our Homeowner is a lovely lady in her mid-80s, and despite being widowed a few years ago, maintains an independent life, and keeps busy with family and friends.

Prior to Covid-19, our Homeowner enjoyed going to the shops in the West End, attending yoga classes and a film club at a local community centre, and playing bridge with friends.

Since the Lockdown started, she has been self-isolating at home and keeping up with friends and family on FaceTime and Zoom. She is playing bridge online, and she enjoys seeing her family from a distance when they visit. However, our Homeowner is finding it hard being on her own so much and would benefit from a little companionship at home and some practical support, as well as the reassurance that there is someone else there at night.

This opportunity would suit a kind, mature female who enjoys the company of an older person, is happy to share some meals together and some time playing board or card games or watching television. Our Homeowner enjoys Netflix documentaries and good crime series as well as quiz shows.

The spare room available in the well maintained flat is a double room with ensuite bathroom and good cupboard space. There is a washing machine in the flat and wifi.

In view of Covid-19, we ask that our Sharers self-isolate for 14 days prior to moving in with our Homeowner. Other requirements will be discussed in interview.
