We are delighted to offer a fabulous new Homeshare opportunity to live comfortably and affordably in north London, close to shops, cafes and transport links, in return for providing around 10 – 15 hours a week of practical support around the home and companionship to a delightful older couple.

Homeshare Location:
The house is very well located only 10-15 minute walk to Finchley Central tube station (Northern Line) and a couple of minutes’ walk to local bus routes straight to the West End, Barnet or Brent Cross.
Accommodation on Offer:
A bright and lovely double bedroom and en-suite bathroom in a large house with a beautiful garden. Shared use of the kitchen and living rooms. Washing machine and dryer available and Wi-fi. [Photos to be uploaded soon].
What the Opportunity Involves:
In return for the low-cost accommodation (£199 per month), we are looking to match our homeowners with a kind and friendly female sharer who is happy to provide some daily companionship and practical support, and a reassuring presence at night. No personal care is permitted.
Our homeowners are in their late 80’s, a friendly and welcoming couple, who have had interesting lives and are close to their family and grandchildren. They socialise sometimes and go out in the evening once a week, occasionally more, and they keep themselves busy during the day. The older gentleman is still driving and independent, keeping busy on the computer and playing bridge with friends, and the lady spends most of her days watching television and chatting to friends and family on the phone.
They have had a homesharer living in for the last 3 years who is sadly leaving to return to family.
This opportunity would suit a kind and gentle mature female aged 40+, who is either working or studying from home or on a hybrid/flexible basis, who is happy to provide some practical support with some meal prep, light housework and local grocery shopping and errands. The homeowners do enjoy their own company in the evenings but are also happy to share some meals with the Sharer and companionship time.

Cost: £199 per month
This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do NOT pay any rent to the homeowner but may be asked to pay a modest monthly contribution towards bills.
