We have a lovely new Homeshare opportunity available for a kind and considerate Sharer to live comfortably and affordably in a great location in North London in return for providing some practical support and daily companionship to a lady in her late 80s.

Homeshare Location:
5 minutes’ walk to Crouch Hill overground station and 10 minutes’ walk to Finsbury Park tube station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines).
Accommodation on Offer:
A bright and good size bedroom with large window overlooking the garden. Small double bed, chest of drawers and desk. Shared use of bathroom, kitchen, and garden. There are two additional toilets in the house. Good Wi-Fi.
What the Opportunity involves:
In return for the low-cost accommodation (£199 per month), we are looking to match our engaging and very nice homeowner with a younger sharer who is happy to provide some practical support and daily companionship (approximately 10 hours per week). No personal care is required or permitted.
Our Homeowner has had an interesting career in theatre and the arts. Her interests include current affairs, film and tv, gardening and reading, and she likes to sing sometimes with her local choir. She is young at heart, interested in people and interesting to talk to. She has had some health issues recently and is supported by her family and friends and neighbours when needed.
She would like to share her home with someone who can help her with practical things at home that she finds difficult such as moving heavy things and odd jobs, IT, watering plants, also local errands such as collecting prescriptions and some grocery shopping. Also, she would really enjoy some daily companionship and to share some meals and good conversation.

The ideal sharer will be working or studying partly from home, and our homeowner would would prefer to share with someone who has been vaccinated for Covid and is a non-smoker.

Cost: £199 per month
This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do not pay rent to the Homeowner. Bills are included, although you may be asked to make a modest contribution to the homeowner towards council tax if you are working.
