We are delighted to offer a fabulous Homeshare in the heart of West London; an opportunity to live comfortably and affordably in return for providing an older person with some practical support, a little companionship and the reassurance of security at night.

Homeshare Location:
A 10 minute walk to Hammersmith tube station (District and Piccadilly Lines), and only a couple of minutes walk to the shops on Fulham Palace Road, and to the River Thames.
Accommodation on Offer:
A very bright and large loft bedroom with built-in wardrobes, bed, chest of drawers and plenty of space for a desk and storage. Private en-suite shower room. Shared use of the kitchen, breakfast room and lovely patio garden. There is Wifi available.

What the Opportunity Involves:
In return for the low-cost accommodation (£199 pm), we are looking to match a young and mature female Sharer to our older Homeowner who would like the security of knowing that she is not alone at night.
Our homeowner is a fairly independent lady in her late 80s. She is sociable, chatty and engaging but she also likes her own company and space, particularly in the evenings, and whilst watching the racing, reading the newspaper and doing the crossword. Her other interests include fashion, flowers and the royal family.
She is used to sharing her lovely home, having had lodgers over the years. She cooks for herself most evenings and would be happy to share some meals, and equally would be happy if the Sharer wanted to make and share an occasional meal with her, but she is keen to stress that this is not a requirement!
She has a small daily care package in place and her family visit regularly, sometimes with the family dog.
This opportunity would suit someone who is independent, helpful, chatty and kind. Someone who is ideally working or studying full time outside the home, or flexibly, and who is happy to lend a hand if/when needed, for example, with moving or lifting things that the homeowner finds difficult, light housework, putting the bins out, collecting prescriptions or buying a newspaper or local groceries.
No personal-care is permitted. The priority for this Homeshare is to provide peace of mind to our homeowner and her family that someone else is living in the home, to keep an eye out for her, and provide some help around the house and a little companionship.
Cost: £199 per month
This is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do not pay any rent to the homeowner but you may need to contribute to council tax if you are working (full-time students are exempt), and make a small contribution towards energy bills.
