We are delighted to offer a new and wonderful opportunity to live in comfortably and affordably in a lovely home in north west London.

Homeshare Location:

The home is well located for access to central London, with great bus links, and a 5 minute walk to Brondesbury Park station (overground) and 10 minute walk to Kilburn tube station (Jubilee line).

Accommodation on Offer:

Large double room with single bed, sofa (which converts to a double bed), wardrobe space, sink and fridge, and shared use of the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, separate living room and garden. Off street parking available. Wifi and bills are included. A cleaner comes regularly.

What the Opportunity involves:

In return for the low-cost accommodation (£199 pm), we are looking to match the homeowner with a kind female Sharer who is happy to provide around 10 hours of practical support and companionship each week, and a reassuring presence at night.

Our Homeowner is a kind lady in her early 80s and sadly recently bereaved, who is looking to share her lovely home with a mature female who has a sunny disposition, good sense of humour and is a driver. There is a car available for the sharer to use.

The ideal Sharer will be happy to provide the homeowner with some help with grocery shopping, basic IT support, occasional car trips to see friends and some offers of cups of tea. This opportunity would suit someone working from home or with some flexibility or hybrid option, or a PhD or mature student. A vegetarian is preferred and whilst there are no pets in the home, a couple of dogs do visit the home regularly.

Cost: £199 per month

This fee is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do not pay the rent to the homeowner. Bills are included however you may need to make a small contribution towards council tax if you are working. (Full-time students are exempt).
