What the Opportunity entails:
We have a wonderful homeshare opportunity that would suit a female sharer who is looking for low-cost accommodation, and in return can provide our lovely homeowner with some company and practical support.
Our homeowner lives in a beautiful home, full of character, in the heart of Rickmansworth, only a couple of minutes walk to the High Street shops and 10 minutes to the train station.
The spare room available is a gorgeous double bedroom, which also leads up to a separate bedroom area and private bathroom, with bath and shower cubicle.
You would have shared use of the other facilities in the home including kitchen, lounge, dining area and garden. A piano, good wifi and parking are all available too.
Our homeowner is in her mid 80s. She is physically well although walks a little slowly, and her vision is slightly impaired. She had a long career in HR in London, and also worked abroad.
She is engaging and easy-going and enjoys meeting people. Her interests include reading, yoga, listening to classical music, watching documentaries and current affairs.
She enjoys speaking French and Spanish. When she can, she goes to church regularly on a Sunday morning, which is only a few minutes from her home.
Our homeowner would benefit from a little companionship, just to know that someone is coming home and will be around for a bit to have a chat, to share a few meals with, and ideally spend a bit of time together on the weekends, which can otherwise be quite long and lonely. She would also enjoy going for a regular walk with someone.
This is a really lovely opportunity that would suit someone who enjoys their work, also having their own space, and who is looking for a quiet, safe home to live.
Cost: £199 per month
This is a monthly facilitation fee for our service. You do not pay rent to the homeowner. Bills are included with this Homeshare.
