What the Opportunity entails:

We have a lovely new Homeshare opportunity for a kind and empathetic Sharer who is looking for low-cost accommodation, and in return, is able to provide our Homeowner with the reassurance that she is not alone at night, as well as some daily companionship and practical support.

Our Homeowner is a gentle and engaging lady in her early 80s. She had a long career in psychotherapy, and an active life. Sadly, she was widowed a few years ago and she is now a little frail. A carer comes in every day to be with her, and another lady lives in to provide overnight reassurance that she is not alone, but she is leaving soon to return to her country.

The accommodation available is a small and cosy double bedroom, and you would have your own bathroom, and shared use of the homes other facilities including the beautiful garden. There is wifi available.

The house is situated in a quiet, lovely residential area, close to beautiful parks and the Hampstead Heath extension and in walking distance to local grocery stores and bus stops.

Our Homeowner has a large and caring family with three children and six grandchildren who visit regularly, often with their pet dogs.

This opportunity would suit someone who is kind and with a mature outlook on life, who is happy to share some time with our Homeowner chatting about current affairs and life, playing board games and who is also willing to help with a bit of grocery shopping, light housework and IT support.

A non-meat eater is preferred as our Homeowner is a vegetarian.

Cost: £199 per month

This is a monthly facilitation fee for our service. You do not pay rent to the homeowner. Bills are included.
