What the Opportunity entails:
We have a lovely new Homeshare opportunity with a friendly, elderly lady who lives in a beautiful part of London, close to excellent transport facilities, parks and High Street shops.
Our Homeowner is looking to share her gorgeous home with a younger female Sharer for some regular companionship and a reassuring presence at night.
In return for the low-cost accommodation in her home, our Homeowner is asking for approximately 10 hours of practical support and companionship each week. This might include some food shopping, accompanying her on an occasional walk to the shops or to the cinema, and generally spending a bit of time together in the evenings and on the weekends.
Our Homeowner is fairly active and goes out occasionally to different groups and activities. She has a daily carer who prepares meals for her and a cleaner comes regularly.
She is a warm, friendly and interested lady who finds the evenings lonely and would love to have someone to chat to, or sometimes play games with, and watch TV.
The accommodation on offer is a bright and airy bedroom with a single bed. There is plenty of cupboard space, a shared bathroom, use of kitchen, lounge, garden and there is wifi.
This opportunity would suit someone who is either working or studying, and who is happy to be around in the evenings to provide some company and a bit of practical support.
