What the Opportunity entails:

Our elderly Homeowner lives in a lovely, semi-detached house in a quiet residential street in Ealing, close to excellent transport facilities in to central London, and local shops. She is looking to share her home with a younger female for some companionship and a reassuring presence at night.

In return for sharing her home, the Homeowner is asking for around 10 hours of practical support and companionship each week, which may include preparing and sharing a few meals, watching TV together, playing games or accompanying her on outings.

Our Homeowner has led an interesting life and has travelled extensively. She has a large and lovely family who she is very close with, and she is a warm and friendly lady with lots of experiences to share. She leads a quiet life now as she is elderly and her eyesight is not as good, and she would love to Homeshare with a kind and gentle Sharer who would enjoy the daily companionship and friendship, perhaps a meal together a few times a week and the occasional pub lunch.

The accommodation on offer is a large double bedroom with plenty of cupboard space and you will have your own shower room, plus shared use of the kitchen, lounge and other facilities in the home including the beautiful garden. There is wifi.

This opportunity would suit you if you are working or studying and would be able to give a little support and companionship to the Homeowner in the evenings, and a few hours at the weekend. No personal care is permitted.

A driver would be preferred but is not essential.

Cost: £199 per month

This is a monthly facilitation fee for our service. You do not pay rent to the Homeowner. You may be asked to contribute towards council tax but will be exempt if you are a full-time student.
